Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Charlotte, NC, to join our Building Engineering Services Group. You will support the delivery of datacenter, office, manufacturing, and tenant upfit projects, coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams from conception to completion.

The role emphasizes client development, delivery leadership, and an active participation in HDR’s employee-owned culture. Some travel to client sites or HDR offices is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 5 years related experience.
• Ability to interact with various design teams and strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work of single or multi-discipline teams throughout the project's life cycle under supervision of a Project Manager.
• Be responsible for many aspects of a small project or a single aspect of a larger project.
• Coordinate workload through project execution and complete deliverables on budget and schedule.
• Work with the Project Manager, Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews.
• Perform other duties as needed.
