Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a full-time Material Handler in New York to orchestrate material movement across the warehouse and production areas. You will work closely with machine centers, drivers, customer service, and production management to ensure timely deliveries, proper staging, and accurate inventory records.

The role emphasizes safe operation of equipment, accuracy in material handling, and proactive problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Prior equipment, shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure.
• Solid working knowledge of warehouse processes and related manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate warehouse equipment as needed including forklift and attachments.
• Read and follow instructions.
• Move material within facility to ensure machine centers are stocked and deliveries are loaded/unloaded.
• Keep warehouse and surrounding areas organized to meet housekeeping and storage standards.
• Verify and track material moved including quantity, size, and packaging.
• Complete all necessary documents for internal or external use.
• Work with minimum supervision and handle moderately complex issues.
