Job summary

Columbia Mental Health is seeking licensed therapists to join our team in Laurel, MD. You will provide outpatient individual and family therapy, develop crisis and wellness plans, and participate in multidisciplinary case reviews.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
• Provisional license per state regulation if required.
• Educational background leading to professional licensing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy based on client needs.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, and insurance forms.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and staff to deliver holistic care.
