Job summary

PADNOS is seeking a Manufacturing Machine Operator at our Wyoming, MI metal-focused plant. You will safely operate balers and related equipment, assist with loading, sorting and inspecting materials, and support daily production goals while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Six months operating small equipment experience preferred (hiLo, loader, forklift, scissor lift)
• Equipment operation and preventive maintenance knowledge (conveyors, pulleys, etc)
• Loader operator experience preferred
• HiLo experience required
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Accuracy in operation and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Safely operate hi-lo, loader, forklift to assist loading and unloading.
• Inspect materials and grade them according to standards.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions.
• Prepare documents and reports.
• Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
