Job summary
PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Humble is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide nursing care under an RN and contribute to patient recovery on our inpatient units. Requirements include state licensure, current BLS, optional IV certification, and about one year of inpatient medical-surgical
Qualifications
- Holds current licensure as LPN/LVN in the state where hospital resides.
- Current BLS certification required; BLS must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment if state regulations require it.
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care under direction of an RN on the unit.
- Gather and report data, carry out orders, and perform therapeutic procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort in an age-appropriate, population-appropriate manner.
