Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Richardson is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide nursing care under the direction of an RN. Responsibilities include data collection, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures in an age-appropriate manner.

Holds current LPN/LVN license in the state or compact licensure; BLS required. IV certification within 90 days may be required by state regulations; 1 year inpatient med-surgical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license in the practicing state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required; must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if state requires.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under the direction of an RN on the unit.
• Gather and report data; carry out orders; perform therapeutic procedures as assigned.
• Deliver age-appropriate care in accordance with PAM Health policies and procedures.
