Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to support large community developments, residential land development, and commercial projects in the Puget Sound region. The candidate will handle civil design, site layouts, grading, stormwater, hydrology, and utilities, with a pathway to project management in a collaborative consulting environment.

Ideal applicants have 3–8 years of relevant experience, an EIT license, and a drive for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• EIT license required.
• PE license desired.
• 3–8 years of experience in civil land development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support civil engineering design for residential land development, commercial projects, and large community developments in the Puget Sound area.
• Develop site layouts, grading plans, and civil site designs that meet project requirements and local regulations.
• Design stormwater systems and related infrastructure per Washington state requirements.
• Perform hydrology modeling to support stormwater design and compliance.
• Produce detailed civil drawings and plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Collaborate with survey teams to integrate data into designs.
• Support site development from concept through design, permitting, and construction.
• Prepare site plans and development documents compliant with local codes and stormwater regulations.
