A seasoned associate is ideal, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn can compensate for years of experience. The role involves comprehensive exams, restorative and endodontic procedures, and collaboration with the hygiene team on periodontal care.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited school and an active dental license in North Carolina.
• Strong surgical skills, proficient with simple and surgical extractions; molar endodontics a plus.
• Comfortable with anterior and premolar endodontics; molar endodontics is a plus.
• Competent across restorations, crown and bridge, dentures, and pediatric restorations.
• Composure and sound decision making under pressure, and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive exams, diagnose, and present treatment plans to patients.
• Deliver general and emergency care: restorations, crown and bridge, extractions, and endodontics within your comfort zone.
• Work with the hygiene team on periodontal diagnosis and recall.
• Keep clinical notes and radiographic records complete and defensible.
• Teach what you know chairside to staff and students.
