Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on, performance-driven Growth Marketing Manager to own our end-to-end customer acquisition and retention strategy. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-moving startup environments, knows how to stretch a dollar, and can manage both the top and middle of the funnel to drive leads, conversions, and long-term customer engagement.
You’ll lead paid acquisition, build high-converting landing pages, and implement email sequences that move leads through the funnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Acquisition & Performance Marketing:
- Launch and manage paid ad campaigns (Meta, Google, YouTube).
- Build and optimize landing pages using low-code tools or collaborate with a designer.
- Write ad copy, test messaging variations, and run A/B experiments.
- Track CAC, ROAS, conversion rates, and other core KPIs.
- Set up UTM tracking and ensure attribution accuracy across platforms.
Email & Lifecycle Marketing:
- Build and manage onboarding, follow-up, and upsell email sequences in HubSpot.
- Segment contacts by behavior and user type (parent, student, counselor, etc).
- Monitor email performance metrics (open rates, click-throughs, conversions).
- Optimize drip campaigns and build workflows to improve conversion and retention.
- Write clear and engaging copy that resonates with diverse audiences.
Strategy & Collaboration:
- Coordinate with the founder and content team to align campaigns.
- Contribute to brand messaging across channels.
- Report weekly on key funnel metrics and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in growth or lifecycle marketing at a startup or consumer-focused company.
- Proven success managing paid campaigns and email automation from scratch.
- Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and GA4.
- Experience with HubSpot or a comparable CRM/email platform.
- Strong writing and copy-editing skills for both ads and emails.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into an actionable strategy.
- Comfortable working independently and reporting directly to the founder.
