Job description

Description
The opportunity

Fundraising shouldn’t feel like a chore. At RaiseRight, we’ve built a better way — and we’re looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to help more organizations and families discover it. This is a hands‑on, full‑funnel role for a builder who’s equally at home in a HubSpot workflow, a paid‑media dashboard, and an experiment readout. You’ll own how we acquire, activate, and retain — and you’ll coach a specialist and our agency partners to do their best work alongside you.

About this role

As Growth Marketing Manager, you’ll own the growth engine end to end — paid acquisition, lifecycle and CRM, SEO and content, and the experimentation and analytics practice that ties it all together. You’ll set the strategy and stay hands‑on in the tools.

It’s a player‑coach role: you’ll directly manage a Lifecycle Marketing Specialist and guide up to two agency relationships, setting the bar for quality and helping the people around you grow. You’ll report to the CMO and partner closely with product, data and analytics, brand, and our coordinator and participant teams to turn growth goals into shipped work and measurable results.

What you’ll do Own full‑funnel acquisition
  • Plan, launch, and scale paid campaigns across search, social, and display — managing budget to clear CAC and ROAS targets.
  • Build audience strategies, including lookalikes and earned‑amplification programs, to reach new coordinators and families efficiently.
  • Partner with brand, content and Social to turn earned moments — press, broadcast, and partnerships — into trackable, measurable growth.
Build lifecycle and CRM that activates and retains
  • Own the enrollment, onboarding, and retention journeys that turn new sign‑ups into active, ordering participants.
  • Design and optimize multi‑step email and cross‑channel flows — welcome series, activation nudges, and promotional messaging — in HubSpot and Iterable.
  • Keep messaging consistent and on‑brand across every surface, from a welcome email to a fee‑free promotion.
Run a rigorous experimentation and analytics practice
  • Design and run A/B and multivariate experiments across the funnel, and turn results into decisions.
  • Own the dashboards and the weekly growth scorecard; watch CAC, activation, retention, and LTV, and tell the story behind the numbers.
  • Safeguard data quality — attribution, lead routing, and tracking — so the team can trust what it measures.
Grow organic discovery
  • Build an SEO and content engine in partnership with the Brand and Social team that brings high‑intent coordinators and families to us and compounds over time.
  • Partner on landing pages and conversion paths that turn organic interest into enrollments.
Lead, coach, and multiply
  • Manage and develop a Lifecycle Marketing Specialist, and direct up to two agency partners to deliver quality work on time and on budget.
  • Bring an AI‑first mindset — using AI tools to plan, manage, and optimize media and creative, and helping the team work smarter.
Fuel what’s next
  • Support new‑market and partnership growth — including our Canada expansion and partner‑driven acquisition — with campaigns built to travel across brands and borders.
What you’ll tackle in your first 12 months
  • Take ownership of the coordinator and participant onboarding flows and lift activation from first sign‑up to first order.
  • Scale a paid‑acquisition program that hits efficiency targets while opening new audiences.
  • Stand up a cleaner, more trustworthy measurement foundation — attribution, tracking, and a scorecard leadership relies on.
  • Roll out promotional pushes consistently across web, app, and email.
  • Contribute to our Canada growth motion alongside partners and the FlipGive team.
Requirements
What you bring
  • 10+ years in growth, performance, or lifecycle marketing, with a track record of driving measurable acquisition and retention.
  • Consumer platform depth. Experience with consumer mobile, marketplace, and subscription platforms — you understand two‑sided or B2B2C dynamics and recurring engagement.
  • Tool mastery. Hands‑on expertise with HubSpot and Iterable, and fluency across analytics suites (GA4, Tableau, Appsflyer, Looker, or similar).
  • AI‑powered media. Real, current experience using AI tools for media management and optimization — planning, buying, creative, and reporting.
  • An experiment‑driven mind. You form clear hypotheses, run clean tests, and let the data guide the call.
  • Full‑funnel range. You’re comfortable owning paid, lifecycle, SEO, and analytics — and you know where to lean in.
  • People leadership. You’ve managed marketers and/or agencies and made them measurably better.
  • Clear, positive communication. You can turn a data story into a decision leadership can act on.
Bonus points
  • Fundraising, nonprofit, education, youth‑sports, or community/marketplace experience.
  • A track record partnering with Social, SEO, PR and earned‑media agencies and turning coverage into growth.
  • Product‑marketing collaboration on in‑app flows and enrollment experiences.
  • Familiarity with cross‑border or multi‑brand growth (US and Canada).
