Job summary

A fast-growing QSR brand is seeking a Growth Leadership Trainer to facilitate training for new Restaurant Managers at their future training center in Austin, TX. The role requires expertise in training and development, with responsibilities including delivering hands-on instruction and providing coaching to ensure high standards and operational success. Ideal candidates are adaptable, possess strong communication skills, and are passionate about teaching and mentoring in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years professional training in multi-unit environments, experience in QSR preferred.
  • Expertise in adult learning and leadership development.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Must have expertise in training, adult learner theory, coaching, and leadership development.
  • Ability to train diverse audiences in dynamic retail and lab environments.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate instructor-led training for Restaurant Managers.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and real-time feedback.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of training across all cohorts.
  • POS operations and daily routines
  • Franchisee systems and technology
  • Opening and closing procedures
  • Food safety, quality, and sanitation
  • Lead teach-backs, practice sessions, and skills assessments
  • Create an engaging, supportive learning environment for adult learners
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and real-time feedback to Restaurant Managers throughout training
  • Confirm knowledge retention during training and adapt facilitation methods or redirect learner as needed
  • Identify skill gaps and provide actionable recommendations for improvement or program exit
  • Reinforce confidence, accountability, and model leadership behaviors
  • Support managers as they transition from learning to execution
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of: Brand standards and operational systems
  • Menu items, limited-time offers, and promotions
  • Food safety and quality standards including recertifying Serv-Safe
  • Train Restaurant Managers on franchisee systems, including: Scheduling and labor tools (e.g., Crunchtime)
  • Inventory and invoice management applications
  • POS employee setup and permissions
  • Payroll review, timecard reconciliation and posting
  • Reinforce how systems connect from hiring through payroll and operations
  • Execute training curriculum as designed by the National Training team
  • Ensure consistent delivery of training across all RM cohorts
  • Maintain training materials, job aids, and equipment readiness
  • Identify opportunities to improve training effectiveness and learner retention and experience
  • Share best practices and insights with Training, Operations, and People teams
  • Work closely with: National Training Manager to support curriculum execution and updates
  • Operations leaders to align training with field expectations
  • People Team to support growth, compliance, and team readiness
  • Support the formal transition from training into the New Restaurant Opening (NRO) phase

Overview

Everyday Coffee Company is a fast‑growing QSR brand operating inside major big‑box retailers, and with rapid nationwide expansion ahead, we are committed to delivering consistent, high‑quality training that drives operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and brand consistency at scale. In this role, the Restaurant Manager Trainer provides an immersive entry‑point training experience for all new managers—building their mastery of Dunkin’ brand standards, food safety, operational systems, and the skills needed to lead successful new‑store openings and ongoing restaurant operations. Serving as both instructor and coach, this leader translates brand standards into practical, real‑world execution while fostering confidence, consistency, and operational discipline. The position also plays a critical role in supporting new‑unit growth through hands‑on training, train‑the‑trainer methods, and ensuring strong openings across the franchise network. Ideal candidates thrive in a fast‑paced, travel‑heavy environment and are passionate about teaching, coaching, and motivating diverse adult learners. Training center is currently in Atlanta, GA and will move to Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

Training Delivery & Facilitation

  • Facilitate instructor-led, hands-on training for Restaurant Managers at the dedicated and remote training center(s) - Based (Atlanta/Austin)
  • Implement and uphold sustainable training systems that support ECC’s national growth
  • Deliver training focused on:
  • Brand standards and recipes for non-traditional kiosk
  • Beverage and Bakery execution
  • POS operations and daily routines
  • Franchisee systems and technology
  • Opening and closing procedures
  • Food safety, quality, and sanitation
  • Lead teach-backs, practice sessions, and skills assessments
  • Create an engaging, supportive learning environment for adult learners

Coaching, Support & Skill Development

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and real-time feedback to Restaurant Managers throughout training
  • Confirm knowledge retention during training and adapt facilitation methods or redirect learner as needed
  • Identify skill gaps and provide actionable recommendations for improvement or program exit
  • Reinforce confidence, accountability, and model leadership behaviors
  • Support managers as they transition from learning to execution

Brand, Systems & Standards Mastery

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of:
  • Brand standards and operational systems
  • Menu items, limited-time offers, and promotions
  • Food safety and quality standards including recertifying Serv-Safe
  • Train Restaurant Managers on franchisee systems, including:
  • Scheduling and labor tools (e.g., Crunchtime)
  • Inventory and invoice management applications

Program Consistency & Continuous Improvement

Qualifications

  • 5+ year professional training in multi-unit environment; experience in QSR, fast casual, foodservice operations, or high‑volume retail or hospitality required.
  • Previous operations experience as a Restaurant Manager, or above-restaurant leader in QSR, retail, or hospitality a plus.
  • Program design, improvement, and rollout are strongly preferred.
  • Must have expertise in training, adult learner theory, coaching, and leadership development.
  • Ability to train diverse audiences in dynamic retail and lab environments.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Organized, adaptable, and able to execute in a fast‑growing, changing business model.
  • Training certification NRF RISE Up or equivalent is a plus

Physical Demands / Working Conditions

  • Working in a restaurant or training lab environment
