Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Growth Leader for Power Generation (Hybrid or Remote). Locations include Austin, TX and other U.S. sites. The role centers on expanding Power Generation projects, leading FEED studies, and building strong client relationships to drive new and recurring business.

You will guide capture, proposals, and strategic planning while mentoring the energy team to grow Power Generation services. A Bachelor's degree and 15+ years in energy are required.

  • Develop Power Generation EPC projects, including combustion turbine simple cycle, combined cycle, and reciprocating engine projects.
  • Develop FEED studies, technical advisory, and analysis engagements.
  • Achieve new and add-on business by developing and enhancing client relationships and serving as a primary company contact.
  • Provide leadership in client relationship development, capture planning, strategy, pursuit and proposal activities to a team of direct reports.
  • Mentor and support the energy team, emphasizing growth in Power Generation services.
  • Participate in strategy development, market trends, and proposal preparation, including interviews and contract negotiations.
  • Communicate pipeline updates and opportunity tracking to internal stakeholders.
  • Travel as required.

Position Summary

Growth Leader – Power Generation (Hybrid or Remote). Locations: Austin, TX; Chicago, IL; Denver, CO (Centennial); Minneapolis, MN; Muscatine, IA; Remote, US. Requisition ID: 11276.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop Power Generation projects including combustion turbine simple cycle, combined cycle and reciprocating engine projects.
  • Develop Engineer, Procure, Construct (EPC) projects in the Power Generation market sector.
  • Develop associated Front End Engineering Design (FEED) studies, technical advisory, and analysis engagements.
  • Achieve new and add-on business with existing clients by developing and enhancing key client relationships and serving as one of the primary company contacts.
  • Provide leadership in client relationship development, capture planning, strategy, pursuit and proposal activities to a team of direct reports.
  • Mentor and support the energy team, emphasizing growth in Power Generation services.
  • Participate in strategy development, market trends, business solutions; corporate strategy, scoping/costing and proposal preparation, interviews, presentations, contract negotiations.
  • Communicate internally and report regularly on new business sales pipeline, client planning and opportunity tracking.
  • Collaborate with direct reports of Client Service Managers to maintain a healthy and accurate pipeline of energy market opportunities.
  • Actively participate in Go No/Go discussions and make recommendations for Go No/Go decisions.
  • Identify new business growth opportunities and work to meet return on investment goals.
  • Travel as required.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary range for CO, IL, and MN locations. Starting salary is competitive and will be determined by qualifications, experience, location, internal equity, and company policy.
