Job summary

XTrace Inc. in New York invites a paid internship role focused on on-site growth and events in NYC. You’ll be the face at tech meetups, demos, and conferences, turning what you hear into engaging content for XTrace across social and video channels.

You’ll own the content calendar, grow your personal brand in the AI tools space, and help shape messaging by feeding event insights back to founders. This is a fast-paced, hands-on opportunity in a startup setting.

• Active on X and/or LinkedIn, or a strong writer eager to build in public.
• Self-directed — you find the events, get in the room, and start conversations.
• Bonus: video editing, fluent in multiple languages, startup or community experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend tech events daily — NYC AI meetups, demo days, and conferences; represent XTrace and collect leads.
• Create content for XTrace — turn events and stories into posts for XTrace_ai, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Discord; own the content calendar.
• Build your audience — grow your personal X/LinkedIn presence with coaching and ownership of your following.
• Close the loop — feed event insights back to founders to shape messaging and roadmap.
• Track what works — measure engagement and leads; double down on high-performing activities.

About XTrace

XTrace is building the procedural memory cloud for AI agents — what one agent learns, every agent and teammate knows. Backed by Stanford and Draper, whether teams use Claude, Codex, or build their own AI agents, we help them share skills, artifacts, and memory across agents and teammates without ever copy-pasting context again. We're an early-stage, fast-moving team in the middle of the AI agent boom, and growth is everyone's job.

The Role

This is a boots-on-the-ground growth role. You'll be XTrace's face at Bay Area tech events every day and turn what you see, hear, and learn into content that grows both XTrace's audience and your own. If you love the AI scene, thrive on meeting people, and are already posting (or dying to post) about tech, this is your summer.

What You’ll Do

Attend tech events daily — AI meetups, demo days, and conferences in NYC. Represent XTrace, demo the product, and collect leads and insights.

Create content for XTrace — turn events, launches, and user stories into posts for X (@XTrace_ai), LinkedIn, YouTube, and Discord. Own the content calendar and ship daily.

Build your own audience — grow your personal X/LinkedIn presence as a builder in the AI agent space. We'll coach you; your following is yours to keep.

Close the loop — bring back what founders, developers, and AI teams say at events to shape our messaging and product roadmap.

Track what works — measure engagement, follower growth, and event-sourced leads; double down on what performs.

What We’re Looking For

Based in the Bay Area with the energy to be out at events 5+ days a week

Active on X and/or LinkedIn, or a strong writer eager to build in public

Genuine interest in AI agents and developer tools; comfortable explaining technical products

Self-directed — you find the events, get in the room, and start conversations

Bonus: video editing, fluent in multiple languages, prior startup or community experience

Big plus if you can do magic tricks — anything that breaks the ice at a meetup
