Job summary

Green Mountain Electric Supply in Liverpool, NY is seeking a Full-Time Warehouse Supervisor to oversee receiving, storing and shipping of electrical supplies, supervise staff, and ensure accuracy of inventory and safety standards.

The role requires forklift certification, knowledge of Paychex Payroll systems and Solar Database software, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Schedule is Monday–Friday from 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM with potential overtime based on workload.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.
• Knowledge of Paychex Payroll systems and Solar Database software.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials.
• Plans layout of stockroom and storage areas to optimize turnover and space.
• Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.
• Prepares composite reports from subordinate reports and adjusts errors and complaints.
