Job summary

Kight Home Center in Kentucky is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support the outside sales program and provide professional customer service to contractors. You will be the main contact for field reps and customers, offering product advice, preparing estimates, and processing orders to keep projects moving.

This role requires reading blueprints, understanding construction practices, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a sales/customer service environment.
• Knowledge of the building materials industry and construction practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform take-offs for estimates.
• Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize and coordinate activities.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assists in building and maintaining relationships with contractor customers by providing superior customer service.
• Acts as a point of contact at the store by supplying advice and information on products, estimates and delivery scheduling.
• Ensures all lines of communication are tied together.
• Assists the outside sales program to ensure that sales and profit goals are met.
• Processes orders and ensures that materials are available for timely shipment.
• Ensures all company policies and procedures are followed.
• Performs material take-offs from blueprints and reviews construction documents for accurate bids.
