Job summary

Elektro Assemblies Inc. seeks a confident process engineer to join the onboarding team.

You will collaborate with sales, production, customer service, and management to onboard new business and customers, building estimates, quotes, and proposals to support sales. Responsibilities include cost estimation, process improvements, and cross-functional communication to ensure timely, accurate quotes and customer updates.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in engineering or a technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years in a technical role with similar requirements.
• Proven history of successful project management and leading teams.
• Reading and interpreting prints and technical specifications.
• Experience with quoting, BOMs, routings, and standard work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and quote new opportunities to grow sales.
• Support onboarding of new business with process and standard work development.
• Develop accurate product costs and margins on quotes and products.
• Collaborate with sales, production, and purchasing to meet customer needs.
• Maintain clear, timely communications with customers and internal teams.
• Develop and manage product records, including BOMs, routings, quotes, and prints.
