Job summary

Total Sanitation Services in Dallas is seeking an M&A Analyst to turn data into a clear view for senior leadership and support acquisitions from sourcing to closing. You will work with the VP of Corporate Development to ensure growth is thoughtful and profitable.

Responsibilities include building models, preparing exec-level presentations, coordinating due diligence, and communicating findings to stakeholders to drive strategic acquisition decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business with a focus on finance or accounting.
• 2–4 years of corporate finance, financial due diligence, investment banking, corporate development, or similar.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills with strong analytical capabilities.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and Word for executive-level presentations.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing initiatives and maintain the M&A pipeline.
• Prepare financial models, valuations, and data presentations; include quality of earnings analysis and synergy assessments.
• Support deal execution with letters of intent and transaction documentation; assist investment committee analyses.
• Coordinate diligence requests; manage data rooms and document distribution for cross-functional teams.
• Analyze target company information, identify risks/opportunities, and communicate findings to support recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal management, private equity owners, and external advisors throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Build relationships with acquisition targets and coordinate site visits and information requests.
• Prepare internal analyses and ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic initiatives and decisions.
• Track integration activities to ensure smooth onboarding post-acquisition.
