Responsibilities

• Mentor junior accounting staff and review their work for accuracy.
• Model the runway so VentureCore always knows its next funding date.
• Pair Fixed Assets reporting with Budgeting reviews for a tighter feedback loop.
• Spot the duplicate payment before it leaves the account.
• Implement and document internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Analyze financial data using ACA to surface trends and risks.
• Reconcile the loan amortization schedule against every lender statement.
• Flag variance the moment it appears, not after the quarter closes.
