Bohan & Bradstreet, a profitable privately held manufacturer, seeks a strategic CFO to partner with the CEO on business development, operations, and P&L management across multiple sites.

Lead finance, accounting, IT, HR, and purchasing; drive KPI performance, budgeting, cash flow, and risk management; support acquisitions and audits.

This in-office or hybrid role requires 12+ years, CPA or MBA, 3+ years as VP Finance or CFO, and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• CPA or MBA required; 12+ years of business experience with a minimum of 3+ years as VP Finance or CFO in a make-to-order manufacturer or construction business in the $30M–$200M size.
• VC or PE experience is ideal; history of increasing valuation and influencing total business.
• In-office role or hybrid (3–4 days a week in office); travel domestically up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting, finance, IT, HR, and purchasing across multiple sites.
• Analyze performance against strategic and operational KPIs; drive continuous improvement and talent development.
• Develop timely budgets, financial reports, and models to inform strategy and investments.
• Identify ways to improve working capital, reduce costs, and improve profitability.
• Partner on new business development; review pricing and margins; provide real-time analysis; assess risk; ensure billing accuracy.
• Oversee treasury functions, intercompany loans, taxes, insurance, cash; ensure governance compliance.
• Mentor direct reports and oversee month-end close, audits, and IRS filings.
• Support acquisitions due diligence and integration.
