Job summary

Armanino LLP is seeking a staff auditor in Austin to perform audits, reviews, and compilations while analyzing financial statements and controls. You will research industry matters, document workpapers, and communicate with managers and partners to advance engagement quality.

The role requires 1 year of public accounting experience, GAAP/GAAS knowledge, and CPA exam eligibility. Collaborative teamwork, professional skepticism, and adherence to ethics are expected in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and eligible to sit for the CPA exam.
• Minimum 1 year of Public Accounting experience, including experience on audit engagements.
• Demonstrate understanding of applicable U.S. GAAP and GAAS.
• Ability to identify internal control deficiencies and document management letter comments.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits, reviews, compilations, and various engagements.
• Analyze financial statement data and draw logical conclusions.
• Exercise professional skepticism in the critical assessment of audit evidence.
• Research and analyze pertinent clients, industry, and technical matters.
• Work with a team of staff members and coach newer staff under supervision.
