Job summary

Montana-Dakota Utilities is seeking a detail‑oriented analyst to lead the analysis and reporting of electric and gas extension projects and statistics for MDU Utilities Group. You will collaborate with Regulatory Affairs and Business Development to develop policies for review and analysis.

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining spreadsheets and databases, tracking projects through the review lifecycle, and preparing recommendations for annual extension reviews.

Qualifications

• Requires four-year degree in accounting, business administration, economics, marketing, or related field.
• Four years of experience in accounting, utility service marketing, business analysis, regulatory affairs, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Leads preparation of growth extension project reviews with concise explanations of variances and supporting documents.
• Designs, completes and maintains spreadsheets and databases for growth extension reviews.
• Assists in maintenance, enhancement and implementation of tools for annual growth extension reviews.
• Tracks growth extension projects in review and provides data to other departments as requested.
• Assists in preparing Business Development's guidance for annual capital and five-year forecast.
• Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
