Job summary

Intermountain Health in Denver, CO is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our ambulatory clinic team. You will assist providers, gather patient information, and communicate with patients by phone and in person to ensure efficient visits.

The ideal candidate has MA training or related experience, strong communication and teamwork, and a patient-centered attitude. This role offers a daytime, Monday–Friday schedule with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of Medical Assistant program OR at least one year MA experience OR active RN/LPN license in Utah.
• Current BLS certification for healthcare providers. Must be obtained prior to start.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with patients and caregivers to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under clinician direction and assist the provider with visit-related information gathering.
• Communicate clearly with patients via telephone and in-person interactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support patient care with attention to detail.
