Job summary

Better Buzz Coffee in Los Angeles is seeking General Managers to lead our growing brand. The General Manager is the most senior leader in the cafe, responsible for delivering a consistent guest experience, building a high-performing team, and operating a profitable, compliant business.

Trainees will train for 8 weeks and may support openings or backfills as we expand. Open availability, 45-hour weeks, and 3 years of GM experience in a high-volume setting are required.

Qualifications

• Three years of GM experience in a high-volume, high-velocity environment.
• Manager Food Safety Certification required.
• Open availability—days, nights, weekends, holidays.
• 45 hours of work per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and coach a team of cafe staff to embody Better Buzz culture.
• Deliver consistent, brand-defining guest experiences.
• Operate the cafe to meet financial targets and maintain compliance.
• Set and post accurate schedules; manage labor against forecast.
• Drive sales through hospitable service and upselling.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and adherence to health regulations.
