Job summary

Check Into Cash in Beaverdam, WI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations, support customers, and develop staff. You will oversee transactions, risk assessments, and outreach while driving sales and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year experience in customer service, sales, or retail.
• At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Background check required. All background checks are conducted, and their results are considered, in accordance with applicable law.
• Able to meet the physical demands, including standing up to 90% of the time and moving up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maximize customer success by offering financial services that fit their needs.
• Assess risk of financial transactions, evaluate, and process loan/pawn applications and check cashing transactions.
• Complete daily call campaigns to market services and build business.
• Oversee account management and recovery processes, including collection calls.
• Maintain customer information in the POS system with accuracy.
• Provide support, coaching, and development to Customer Service Representatives as needed.
• Perform duties outside the office, including on-site store errands and external marketing.
• Meet performance standards by leveraging partnerships and hosting in-store events.
• Maintain store security protocols and cash handling procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Maintain store appearance and handle facility needs.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks to meet targets.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by leadership.
• Maintain a full-time in-person schedule including weekends (minimum 40 hours per week).
