REPORTS TO: SVP, Growth Business Development

TYPE: Exempt, Full Time

LOCATION: Remote

COMPENSATION: $130,000 - $145,000 + commission

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Growth Development Representative is an individual contributor responsible for building a revenue-generating health plan client portfolio, across commercial and government offerings, with an emphasis on Healthmine’s emerging Medicare Advantage and managed Medicaid health plan verticals. Further, the individual’s understanding of the overall quality improvement/consumer-engagement value chain within managed care organizations would be leveraged to identify additional synergies within this growing market. The Growth Development Representative will act as an evangelist to the industry, articulating Healthmine’s data-driven technology solutions and platforms.

In addition, this position will work in collaboration with Consulting & Professional Services, Sales Operations, and Marketing leaders to develop and implement win-win partner programs, sales processes, go-to-market strategies, and business development initiatives that drive revenue growth and market expansion. This individual contributor sales leader must work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment to drive quota achievement. The candidate must be able operate in a complex sales/solutions environment at both the executive and functional level, while possessing the skillset to expertly demonstration our technology assets and value proposition.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Ability to operate and support a structured, prescriptive, and process-driven sales environment.
  • Collaborate with members of the Healthmine team to ensure an excellent client experience across all client interactions from needs assessment through delivery and follow up.
  • Effectively demo the solutions to prospective clients.
  • Work collaboratively with the Consulting/Sales & Marketing colleagues to develop creative outreach strategies to attract and retain clients.
  • Independently identify ideal targets and key targets across our clients’ key verticals.
  • Qualify opportunities and drive alignment between prospect requirements with our clients’ solutions.
  • Direct, manage and lead the strategy of sales pursuits with team members, company resources and/or partners throughout the sales cycle by using influence to persuade.
  • Develop and deliver custom needs assessments, custom sales presentations, and proposals.
  • Participate in process improvements, including process definition, measurement analysis, and implementation of controls.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Other duties as required and assigned.
WHAT YOU NEED:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8+ years of outside sales experience with proven track record of success in developing and closing high dollar transactions.
  • Demonstrated track record of developing direct sales to health plans (both commercial and government) selling rewards & incentive solutions, consumer-engagement solutions, SaaS-based technology, analytics into quality, pharmacy, medical and finance executives.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of Pay for Performance/Quality, Star Ratings and pharmacy product value proposition preferred.
  • Ability to negotiate complex contractual agreements and pricing models.
  • Experience utilizing CRM systems, developing metrics and dashboards, and managing the sales process through the use of CRM tools and methods.
  • Experience with marketing communications and market segmentation.
