Job summary

Glean, the Work AI platform, seeks a Growth Data Scientist to partner with Growth Product, Engineering, Design, and Product Marketing. You will turn ambiguous growth opportunities into measurable bets, build measurement systems, and use behavioral data to drive substantial value for users and customers.

You will lead end-to-end data science projects, design robust experiments, and create reusable datasets and dashboards to empower product teams in making data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in quantitative data science, product analytics, or growth analytics.
• Strong grounding in statistics, experimentation, causal inference, segmentation, funnel analysis.
• Experience designing and analyzing product experiments and translating findings into product decisions.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or R.
• Experience building durable analytical datasets, metrics, dashboards, and data models.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve growth measurement framework across acquisition to expansion; own core metrics like WAU and activation.
• Build end-to-end funnels to identify value, drop-offs, and engagement drivers.
• Size high-leverage opportunities in onboarding, discovery, lifecycle messaging, and virality.
• Partner with Product/Engineering to turn ideas into testable hypotheses and instrumentation plans.
• Design and analyze A/B tests and quasi-experiments to guide product direction.
• Develop segments and translate insights into targeted interventions.
• Quantify reachable populations and impact to inform roadmaps and tradeoffs.
• Build reusable growth datasets, dashboards, and self-serve analytics for cross-functional teams.
• Lead end-to-end data science projects from framing to recommendations for engineers and executives.
