Assessmate builds exam technology that helps learners practise under realistic computer-based conditions. We are hiring a Growth Associate for 3 months to grow adoption nationwide through tutors and education networks.

You will own early customer acquisition, conduct high-volume outreach, and onboard partners into referral programs. This remote role reports to the Managing Director and focuses on turning conversations into paying users with organized pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong written and spoken English.
• Ability to conduct high-volume outreach via WhatsApp and calls.
• Organised with numbers and CRM discipline.
• Self-driven, able to convert research into conversations and conversions.
• Familiarity with education sector or study abroad a plus.

Responsabilités

• Research and map tutors and learning communities in Nigeria.
• Build and maintain a clean contact list / CRM.
• Run daily outreach via WhatsApp, email, and calls.
• Explain Assessmate’s free diagnostic and paid offerings clearly.
• Onboard partners onto referral codes and scripts.
• Guide partners to appropriate offerings (single or multi-session).
• Follow up until partners are active and learners convert.
• Submit a weekly acquisition report detailing activities and outcomes.

Assessmate builds exam technology that helps learners practise under realistic computer-based conditions. Our practice products support preparation for high-stakes exams - including IELTS and other major assessments - so candidates can build confidence before test day.

We are hiring a Growth Associate for 3 months to grow adoption of Assessmate’s practice offerings nationwide through tutors, learning communities, and education / study-abroad networks.

About the role

You will own early customer acquisition for Assessmate’s practice products.

This is a hands-on growth role: you research who to speak with, open conversations, onboard partners, and help turn interest into paying users. Success is measured by organised pipelines, activated partners, and real conversions - not vanity metrics.

You will work remotely across Nigeria from day one and report to the Managing Director.

What you will do

• Research and map tutors (independent and within academies), WhatsApp/Telegram learning communities, and education / study-abroad consultants across Nigeria
• Build and maintain a clean contact list / CRM (name, channel, city, status, notes)
• Run daily outreach via WhatsApp, email, and calls
• Explain Assessmate’s free diagnostic experience and paid practice offerings clearly and persuasively
• Onboard partners onto referral codes and equip them with simple scripts they can share with learners
• Guide partners and prospects toward the offering that fits their needs (from single practice sessions to multi-session prep packages)
• Follow up consistently until partners are active and learners convert
• Submit a clear weekly acquisition report (contacts added, outreaches, replies, partners activated, conversions, blockers)

• A growing, well-organised national contact list
• Consistent weekly outreach and disciplined follow-up
• Tutors and communities actively sharing Assessmate practice links
• A rising number of first-time paying users connected to your work
• Strong conversion into multi-session purchases, not only one-off practice

Who you are

• Strong written and spoken English
• Comfortable with high-volume WhatsApp outreach and polite persistence
• Organised and numbers-aware (Google Sheets / simple CRM discipline)
• Self-driven - you turn research into conversations and conversions
• A generalist who learns quickly; familiarity or contacts in education, exam prep, or graduates planning to study/migrate abroad is a strong plus
• Based in Nigeria (remote)
• Recent NYSC discharge or flexible PPA candidates are welcome

Nice to have: experience in sales, business development, partnerships, community management, or campus / education outreach.

Compensation

Competitive monthly base pay, based on experience and relevant network. Performance bonus available for confirmed first paid purchases you originate (details at offer). Monthly data/airtime support for outreach, plus a limited approved transport / partner support budget.

Duration: 3 months, with extension based on performance.
