Patterns Hiring is assisting a glass and architectural solutions firm in Columbia, TN to hire a Business Development & Marketing Specialist. The role focuses on expanding market presence through lead generation, relationship-building, networking, and strategic marketing initiatives.

The candidate will handle both field visits and office-based tasks, meeting with industry professionals, attending events, visiting sites, and representing the organization at presentations and community activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, business development, outside sales, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
• Confident and comfortable presenting to groups.
• Ability to engage with business owners, contractors, architects, designers, and property managers.
• Experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms.
• Professional appearance and presentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout Middle Tennessee.
• Ability to visit active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development, sales, and marketing campaigns.
• Identify and generate qualified leads and new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain referral partnerships with contractors, builders, architects, designers, and property managers.
• Conduct in-person visits with prospective and existing business partners.
• Represent the organization at networking events, presentations, trade events, and community activities.
• Create marketing content including photos, videos, brochures, presentations, flyers, blogs, newsletters, and other materials.
• Manage social media platforms and online presence.
• Monitor campaign performance and marketing ROI.
• Track and report key performance indicators.
