JOB DESCRIPTION

Must Have

1. Works with business to coordinate and gather requirements on reporting needs and KPI definitions.
2. Create business requirement documents, functional specifications and data dictionaries as needed.
3. Collaborate with SMEs and product owners to help drive clarity and document the requirements.
4. Validate the requirements and document it as per the project needs.
5. Collect additional details for the requirements such as:
1. Data locations in SAP
2. Corresponding table names of those data
3. Understand and document business rules to extract those data.
4. Validate the data already in DW environment in collaboration with data engineers.
6. Explain the requirements to the technical team and clear doubts, if any.
7. Supports documentation and data cataloging needs in Alation.
8. Help to define, document, and implement data lineage strategy from source tables till consumption layer.
