Job summary

Western Weather Group is seeking an Ag Solutions Advisor in California to grow our presence among growers of high‑value crops. You will build trusted relationships with farmers, farm managers, and associations, selling weather monitoring stations and meteorologist‑backed forecast services tailored to crops like almonds, wine grapes, and citrus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience in agricultural, environmental, or related technical field.
• Established relationships within California’s agricultural community, with credibility among growers, farm managers, and cooperative staff.
• Familiarity with weather and environmental monitoring and why on-site data matters to growers.
• Prior experience in technical or consultative sales; strong agricultural background welcomed.
• Willing to learn instrumentation and data products.
• Able to travel up to 50% for field visits.

Responsibilities

• Represent WWG with professionalism and integrity in California.
• Develop and maintain presence in California’s agricultural community through grower engagement and associations.
• Attend industry events and field days to deepen market relationships and generate referrals.
• Identify and qualify growers of high-margin crops and needs for weather data and services.
• Prepare tailored proposals and demonstrations showing value of weather hardware and forecast services.
• Coordinate handoff to Client Operations for installation and onboarding.
