Job summary

Pursuit in Talkeetna is hiring for a Spring/Summer 2027 seasonal, full-time role starting in April 2027. The starting wage is $20.00/hour. The position is based at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge, offering majestic views and an immersive hospitality experience in Alaska.

Ideal candidates bring strong interpersonal and communication skills, solid organization, and guest service experience. The role requires regular lifting, good fitness, and basic computer skills in a dynamic lodge environment.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organization and detail-oriented skills.
• Previous guest service experience.
• Ability to perform duties of the job with regular sitting, standing, walking, seeing and hearing.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 30 pounds.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor changes to group bookings
• Maintain communication with management regarding changes to group bookings
• Maintain files and folders for all groups
• Provide a weekly schedule, detailed with all groups and events scheduled to arrive at the lodge and restaurant
• Greet the tour directors as they arrive to ensure all requirements are set for the arriving group
• Assist Front Desk staff as needed
• Assist Food & Beverage Manager for group events as needed
• Assist in data entry of the group manifest

Set on a ridge just above the town of Talkeetna, Pursuit's Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge offers majestic views of the tallest peak in North America. It’s the best of Alaska, outside and in.

Role & Responsibilities

• Monitor changes to group bookings
