Job summary

24 Hour Fitness is seeking a Group X Coach at our Northridge, CA club to deliver pre-choreographed or freestyle group exercise programs both in person and via virtual platforms. You will foster a welcoming environment, motivate members, and ensure sessions are safe and engaging.

Responsibilities include coaching multiple classes weekly, maintaining service standards, recruiting new participants, and coordinating substitutes as needed while upholding the club’s Clean, Friendly and Well Maintained

Qualifications

• Current approved group exercise primary certification for taught format.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous group exercise instruction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach group sessions and classes in person or via virtual technology.
• Present sessions to welcome, encourage and challenge members.
• Ensure safety and proper techniques during classes.
• Increase attendance through engaging teaching and motivation.
• Arrange substitutes as needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service before and after sessions.
• Maintain club cleanliness and report maintenance needs.
• Recruit new class participants.
• Start and finish sessions on time.
