Job summary

Direct Travel seeks a senior travel professional to coordinate domestic and international air, hotel, and ground transportation for clients. This fully remote role requires Amadeus and Apollo proficiency and a minimum of five years of corporate travel experience, including group or air fare knowledge, with strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities include policy compliance, account support, and following procedures while maintaining high productivity and accurate data

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of corporate consultant experience.
• Industry knowledge in travel management and corporate travel.
• Proficiency in one or more CRS systems.
• Ability to meet and exceed performance standards.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Knowledge of Outlook and basic Microsoft Office.
• Airline contract knowledge.
• Group travel experience preferred.

• Attends staff and training meetings; may require office presence when home-based.
• Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees to foster a cooperative environment.
• Performs other duties such as air analysis completion and flight monitoring if requested.

Position Overview

Responsible for the successful completion of comprehensive,accurate, cost-effective travel arrangements for Direct Travel clients within company policiesutilizinggroup block, meeting and zone or corporate contracts, and preferred suppliers in an efficient and professional manner.

This position is fully remote. Amadeus and Apollo skills are needed. The specific work shift is Monday through Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Pacific.

Responsibilities

• Completes domestic and international arrangements for clients which include air andpossibly hoteland ground transportation.
• Supports one or more accounts
• Operates within detailed procedures
• Interacts with travelers or travel arranger andprovides1stlevel of support for customer service and technical issues
• Ensures compliance of a clients travel policy whileutilizingDT preferred vendors to maximize profit
• Adheres to DT standards in delivering customer service including telephone and emailetiquette, andfollows prescribed customer service escalation procedure.
• Follows company standardsregardingprocedures,utilizationof tools, productivity, accuracy of work, and attendance
• Attends staff and training meetings for ongoing updates in travel industry and office procedures which may require you to work in the office if home based
• Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative working environment
• Performs other duties as assigned which may include:
  • Air analysis completion
  • Flight monitoring if requested

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of corporate consultant experience, and preferably 1-2 years group experience as well.
• Mustdemonstrateindustry knowledge
• Proficiencyin one or more CRS
• Ability to meet and exceed required performance standards
• Excellent customer service skillsrequired
• Excellent verbal and written communication skillsrequired
• Minimum knowledge of Outlook skills and basic Microsoft platforms, especially Excel.

• Proficiency with international fares, routings, and required traveler documentation
• 3-5 years group or corporate air experience
• 3-5 years of GDS computer skills on Sabre system required.
