Job summary

MiraVista in Holyoke, Massachusetts is seeking a Group Therapist for full-time days with weekend coverage flexibility preferred to join a multidisciplinary inpatient program.

You will deliver and coordinate clinical programming for adults with behavioral health and co-occurring addiction, lead groups on all units using Trauma-Informed Care, CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing, and collaborate with families and the treatment team to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field required; license preferred (LMHC/LICSW/OT or comparable).
• Advanced experience leading groups in behavioral health/inpatient settings.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care, CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing.
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (Medsphere/Vista) requested.
• Ability to collaborate with treatment teams and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinical programming for adult patients in an acute inpatient setting.
• Lead groups on all units using trauma-informed care, CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
• Collaborate with treatment team meetings and engage with families for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and coordination of group schedules.

Job description

As a Group Therapist for MiraVista in Holyoke, Massachusetts, you’ll bring your experience and knowledge where your voice matters. A Group Therapist is an integral part of our multidisciplinary treatment team. You will provide direct care and support not only to our patients but also their families and make decisions that impact the lives of your peers, your patients, and your community. In exchange, we will care for you, as much as you care for our patients.

Full Time - Days ( weekend coverage flexibility preferred )

As a Group Therapist:

• You will provide and coordinate clinical programming to adult behavioral health/co-occurring addiction patients in an acute inpatient setting.
• You utilize Trauma Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing throughout the group program curriculum
• You work with clinical to develop appropriate group topics and coordinate group schedules
• You are responsible for leading groups on all units
• You will be an active member of the treatment team, participate in treatment team meetings, and will engage with other members as required for good patient care

The Group Thereapist will have the following:

• Clinical Master’s degree in a related field required; license is preferred (LMHC, LICSW, OT or comparable can be considered)
• Advanced level knowledge and experience in leading groups in a behavioral health setting
• Knowledge and experience with group leadership, Trauma Informed Care, CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing
• Demonstrate competency in the areas listed and possess the knowledge base, skill and ability to work in an acute inpatient setting
• Sufficient typing and computer skills to facilitate use of Electronic Health Record; experience with Electronic Health Record including Medsphere/Vista

Pay Range

Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience.

$65,000 - $78,000
