Job summary

Equinox's Sports Club Boston location is seeking a Group Reformer Pilates Instructor. This part-time role involves teaching small-group Pilates on Reformers, delivering the Equinox Experience to members, and maintaining class flow and timing.

Qualified candidates will have comprehensive Pilates training with 400+ hours, certification proofs, and a friendly, outgoing personality. Regular communication with the team and members is essential.

Qualifications

• Completion from a Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training program with certification on all apparatus.
• Minimum 400 hours of Pilates education through a certification program.
• Must provide valid Pilates certification(s).
• Experience teaching Pilates classes.
• Friendly, vibrant, outgoing personality.
• Regular email and phone communication access.

Responsibilities

• Teach a small group authentic Pilates on a Reformer adhering to class guidelines.
• Deliver the Equinox Experience to our members in each class.
• Continuously monitor the exercise intensity and modify for participants when necessary.
• Ensure classes are full and start/end on time.
• Teach respective classes regularly and keep substitutions to a minimum.
• Communicate with manager on member feedback, equipment and scheduling.
