ICANN seeks a seasoned Group Product Manager, Workplace Technology to shape the vision, strategy, and lifecycle of ICANN’s workplace technology portfolio. You will drive adoption of AI-enabled tools, partner with business stakeholders and E&IT teams, and deliver secure, scalable, user-centered solutions that enhance productivity and employee experience.

You will own roadmaps, manage multiple programs, and mentor product managers while ensuring alignment with security and enterprise standards.

This portfolio includes workforce enablement platforms, collaboration and productivity tools, knowledge management solutions, workflow automation capabilities, and other technologies that support employee effectiveness and organizational performance.

Job Summary

The Group Product Manager, Workplace Technology is responsible for defining the vision, strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management of ICANN’s workplace technology portfolio. This portfolio includes workforce enablement platforms, collaboration and productivity tools, knowledge management solutions, workflow automation capabilities, and other technologies that support employee effectiveness and organizational performance. This role treats internal technology capabilities as products, ensuring they are aligned to employee needs, business objectives, and measurable outcomes. The Group Product Manager partners closely with business stakeholders and E&IT teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-centered solutions that enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and improve the overall employee experience. The role is responsible for driving adoption of AI-enabled workplace technologies that enhance collaboration, knowledge sharing, productivity, and workforce effectiveness. The position is accountable for maximizing the value of workplace technology investments through effective product management practices, portfolio prioritization, adoption strategies, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities And Duties
  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities for ICANN’s workplace technology portfolio.
  • Manage workplace technology products throughout their lifecycle, from evaluation and implementation through adoption, optimization, and retirement.
  • Evaluate, prioritize, and manage AI-enabled workplace technologies including digital assistants, enterprise search, collaboration intelligence, and productivity-enhancing capabilities.
  • Treat internal systems and services as products, ensuring they are designed around employee needs, measurable business outcomes, and long term sustainability.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve productivity, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and workflow efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain product roadmaps that align business priorities, technical capabilities, security requirements, and resource capacity.
  • Lead portfolio prioritization across multiple concurrent initiatives, balancing business value, risk, technical feasibility, and organizational readiness.
  • Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to ensure high- quality execution and predictable delivery of product outcomes.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators, including adoption, utilization, employee satisfaction, operational efficiency, and business value realization.
  • Drive simplification and standardization of workplace technology services by reducing tool sprawl, improving platform integrations, and rationalizing overlapping capabilities.
  • Partner with Security, Privacy, Compliance, and Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure workplace technology solutions are secure, compliant, resilient, and aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify and deliver workforce AI use cases that improve employee experience and operational efficiency.
  • Own vendor and platform relationships, including product evaluations, licensing strategies, contract renewals, performance management, and cost optimization.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Product Managers and Product Owners within the Workplace Technology portfolio, establishing consistent product management practices and operating rhythms.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, industry trends, and evolving workforce needs to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to business and technology leaders regarding workplace technology investments and workforce enablement capabilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Demonstrated success defining and executing product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for workplace technology, workforce enablement, or enterprise software platforms.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise collaboration, productivity, workflow, and knowledge management technologies.
  • Experience evaluating and managing AI-enabled workplace technologies and productivity platforms.
  • Proven ability to influence and build partnerships across business, technology, and executive stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Experience translating complex or ambiguous business needs into clear product strategies, requirements, and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of modern product management practices, Agile delivery methodologies, and product operating models.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands and make effective trade- off decisions based on business value, risk, cost, and strategic alignment.
  • Experience using data, analytics, user feedback, and operational metrics to drive product adoption and continuous improvement.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise security, compliance, privacy, and risk management principles.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills.
Education And Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in product management, technology management, workplace technology, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum six (6) years of people leadership experience, including management and development of professional staff.
  • Experience leading enterprise- scale workplace technology, collaboration, productivity, or workforce enablement initiatives.
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
Preferred Certifications
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), or equivalent product management certification.
  • ITIL Foundation or higher.
  • SAFe Product Manager/Product Owner certification.
  • PMP certification.
  • TOGAF certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
Language
  • Fluency, both written and spoken, in English is required

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
  • Work is performed in a normal office environment with limited privacy and some exposure to background noise

$125,000.00 + 20% Bonus + Benefits
