Job summary

Chamberlain Group is seeking a Product Management Leader to develop and implement the product portfolio strategy for designated business units, driving financial performance and oversees pricing, roadmaps, and go-to-market plans.

This role leads a team of product managers, collaborating with marketing, sales and customer experience to deliver end-to-end solutions across hardware and software for connected experiences.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience requirements include 5+ years in Engineering, Marketing and/or Product Management, supervising product managers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, communicate and implement product strategy for assigned business unit product portfolio; deliver brand strategy, product portfolio management, integrated marketing planning and pricing strategies; lead and provide oversight for product category strategy within business unit product portfolio
• Drive annual and multi-year operating plans and results for their product portfolio, aligned to Chamberlain Group objectives (revenue, gross profit, operating income, quality, delivery, cost and innovation); track portfolio financial performance
• Support achievement of full P&L objectives for the business unit, driving profitability, volume growth and market share, as well as execution of product and services
• Lead team of product managers to achieve portfolio ASP and gross margin by recommending pricing objectives, strategies, and guardrails to extract maximum value on new and existing products; focus on growing revenue via product line mix and margin improvements
• Define and communicate the product portfolio vision and roadmap aligned to business goals in short- and long-term; emphasize fast-paced new product development and releases, sustaining product support and insight-driven strategy
• Develop and implement strategy for product offering, brand, and channels; partner with marketing, sales, and customer experience to develop go-to-market strategies; lead end-to-end operational plans to drive profitability and growth; work cross-functionally to achieve objectives
• Serve as Product Owner leading cross-functional collaboration to develop connected services; own end-user connected experience, uncover real-time consumer insights, drive UX requirements, build business cases and value propositions
• Ensure cross-functional marketing has processes to manage quality, cost, and delivery of products; identify improvements and drive actions
• Interface with analysts, media/PR outlets, industry conferences to educate customers, partners and end users about vision, strategy and product innovations; represent company with stakeholders
• Lead development of a clear after-sales and service strategy with Customer Experience and Marketing teams
• Provide product content guidance and prioritization, integrated marketing planning and pricing strategies, facilitating daily scrum activities and timelines
• Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; ensure compliance across teams
