Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent training/experience required.
• Familiarity with Group Life and Health terminology, especially billing and collections.
• Up to five years of bookkeeping/billing/collection experience preferred with MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Review premium payments for Group Life & Health and process into the Group system.
• Review Stop Loss payments and verify accuracy in ESL system; contact clients for discrepancies.
• Validate data from Group Due/Unpaid reports and mail delinquency letters after 31 days.
• Audit GFA for premium problems and adjust Group and ESL systems accordingly.
• Handle complex premium transactions including Flex Life, Rate Stabilization, deposits, and refunds.
• Provide customer service for billing inquiries to internal and external clients.
• Support special billing for specific group contracts and admin Flex Life cases.
• Remote deposit checks to lockbox accounts; back-up for commission processing.
