Job summary

Terracon seeks a qualified leader to supervise department projects, ensuring on-time delivery, proper scoping, and adherence to client requirements and company standards. The role includes directing proposals, staffing, and business development while maintaining safety and quality across projects.

Ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology with 5 years of related experience (or 9 years without a degree). A valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology.
• 5 years of practice experience in the engineering/environmental/geology field, or 9 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals and cost estimates.
• Assist with business and client development activities.
• Develop staffing plans, recruitment, and onboarding.
• Prepare and execute annual business plan for the specialty service group.
• Oversee revenue growth, staff chargeability, project billing and profitability.
• Understand project-related risk and protect the Company.
• Lead safety efforts and promote a safe work environment.
