Farmers Home Furniture is seeking a Group Manager to lead and develop Store Managers across our store network. You will coach leaders, drive sales growth, manage profitability, and ensure operational excellence while strengthening community relations and brand consistency.
You will recruit and develop top talent, supervise payroll and budgeting, review performance metrics, and maintain strong customer service and credit procedures across all locations.
The Group Manager recruits, leads and develops independent Store Managers through coaching and support, driving integrity, accountability, and performance. They focus on sales growth, profitability, customer relationships, and managing bad debt while ensuring operational excellence and community involvement.

Bachelor’s degree in Management or Business Administration field; seven (7) years experience in retail management or supervision; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Valid State Driver’s License required.

Mathematical Aptitude: Requires the ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication and division; the ability to calculate decimals and percentages; may include the ability to perform mathematical operations with fractions; may include the ability to compute discount, interest, profit and loss, ratio and proportion.
Functional Reasoning: Requires the ability to apply principles of influence systems, such as directing, planning, leadership and incentive, and to exercise independent judgment to apply facts and principles for developing approaches and techniques to resolve problems.
Situational Reasoning: Requires the ability to exercise judgment, decisiveness and creativity in situations involving the evaluation of information against measurable or verifiable criteria.
