This role is responsible for the daily operation of the department, including assigning and reviewing work, resolving shipment issues, and ensuring compliance with departmental procedures.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 6-8 employees, with no authority to hire or perform performance management.
  • Assign tasks, verify completion, rotate assignments, and enforce safety and work rules.
  • Investigate and report safety incidents and non-compliance issues to the supervisor.
  • Maintain clean work areas.
  • Ensure quality products by following procedures, maintaining safety, and setting an example through performance and attendance.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience & Skills

0-1 years of relevant experience preferred.

Ability to read and understand shipping and receiving documents.

Proficient in entering data into software applications via keyboard and computer.

Basic mechanical understanding.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.

Work environment includes noise, extreme temperatures, and movement of equipment and personnel within a manufacturing plant.

This role does not require domestic travel.

Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and standing/walking on concrete floors.
