Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Group Leader to oversee production, quality, or global supply chain operations onsite in Marion, Indiana. The role emphasizes leading teams, driving operational excellence, and implementing Built-in-Quality initiatives within GM's SPQRCE framework.

Responsibilities include production management, process improvement, quality assurance, and data-driven decision making, with weekend/rotating shifts and a background in lean practices preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of direct supervisory experience or at least 5 months as an internal GM per diem group leader.
• Experience managing people and addressing performance concerns.
• Experience solving complex problems and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, experience managing conflict, and decision making.
• Demonstrate a high analytical ability to solve complex problems.
• Must be willing to work weekends and rotating shifts.
• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
