Job summary

Med-National Staffing Inc. is seeking a Group Leader, Facilities Maintenance to oversee daily operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Indiana manufacturing facility during the Crew E shift.

You will lead a team of maintenance technicians, ensure equipment reliability, and support production objectives in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 5+ years of facilities maintenance experience, with strong knowledge of

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of facilities maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience managing maintenance teams.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and building systems.
  • Experience using CMMS to manage maintenance activities.
  • Proven troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent planning and project management abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; OSHA and safety standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the facilities and maintenance team to ensure timely and effective maintenance of equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure.
  • Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Partner with production, engineering, and operations teams to minimize downtime and support manufacturing goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, inventory levels, and procurement of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
  • Oversee critical facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building management systems.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance issues and coordinate timely corrective actions.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop maintenance personnel while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment histories, inspections, and repair documentation through CMMS systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and facility performance.

Position Summary We are seeking a proactive and experienced Group Leader, Facilities Maintenance to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing facility during the Crew E shift. This leadership role is responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring equipment reliability, supporting production objectives, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of facilities maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience managing maintenance teams.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and building systems.
  • Experience utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to manage maintenance activities.
  • Proven troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment and support off-shift maintenance needs when required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing operations.
  • Training or certification in maintenance reliability, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience managing facility improvement projects and contractor relationships.
Compensation

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $108,877 - $163,316. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, geographic location, and overall business needs.
