Job summary

Slate is seeking a proactive Group Leader for Facilities and Maintenance to oversee our manufacturing facility on the Crew E Shift. You’ll lead technicians, drive equipment reliability, and maintain a safe, efficient work environment while ensuring preventive maintenance and regulatory compliance.

You’ll collaborate with production and engineering to minimize downtime, manage budgets and inventories, and mentor a team focused on continuous improvement and skill development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in facilities or maintenance roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.

• Train and mentor maintenance staff, promoting continuous improvement and skill development.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Group Leader for Facilities and Maintenance to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and improvement of our manufacturing facility for our Crew E Shift. This role is responsible for leading a team of technicians, ensuring equipment reliability, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

SALARY RANGE:

The compensation for this position is the range Slate reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; work location; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Base Pay Range (Annual)

108,877.00 - 163,316.00 USD Annual
