Job Description

1. Perform both technical and personnel aspects of group operations.
2. Perform work within the department or other areas as required.
3. Act as a technical resource, trainer, and troubleshooter for the department, and recommend operational or technical improvements.
4. Communicate effectively within the group.
5. Coach and develop direct reports, plan and monitor workflow, monitor data, and support departmental MOS.
6. Demonstrate and strengthen leadership qualities.
7. Manage directly the non-leadership employees in the department.

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience; authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Additional Preferences: Experience with LC/MS, GC/MS, ICP-OES, or ICP/MS systems; experience in cGMP, GLP, ISO 17025 labs; experience with extractables/leachables, polymeric materials, method development and validation, and investigations into unknown compounds; leadership qualities, decision-making, empathy.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Candidates living near Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
