Job summary

BeOne Institute seeks a Group Leader to drive breakthrough discoveries in cancer research and to set a forward-looking strategy aligned with our mission. You will foster a collaborative environment where innovative ideas are translated into transformative medicines.

You will lead a high-performing team, mentor scientists, and partner across functions to accelerate programs while maintaining scientific rigor and strategic alignment with BeOne’s priorities.

Qualifications

• Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent advanced degree with deep expertise in cancer biology, cancer immunology, immunology, protein engineering, AI-driven protein design, or related life sciences.
• 10+ years of post-degree experience, including postdoctoral and/or industry research, with a track record in drug discovery or impactful science.
• Substantial post-degree experience in academia and/or industry with proven contributions to drug discovery or impactful achievements.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary research environment with multidisciplinary problem solving.
• Scientific leadership to build collaborative relationships across functions and disciplines.
• Experience providing mentorship and scientific guidance in a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
