Job summary

River Edge Behavioral Health in Milledgeville, GA seeks a Group Leader to support clients and their families, promoting recovery, independence, and well-being. You will lead individual and group skills sessions, educate on symptom management, daily living, and community resources.

The role collaborates with the River Edge team, maintains documentation in the EMR, and participates in discharge planning and satisfaction surveys. Background clearance and drug testing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, human services, sociology, or related field; two years of related experience preferred; or
• Master’s degree in a related field; or
• One year of experience in a lower-level or equivalent position, as applicable to agency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for clients by coordinating necessary services and connecting them with resources.
• Collect and document relevant information about clients through interviews and records reviews.
• Facilitate individual and group skills-training sessions to support recovery and independent living.
• Contribute to development and implementation of individualized treatment and care plans.
• Monitor, evaluate and document client progress toward goals in treatment plans.
