Job summary

Goddard Riverside in Manhattan is seeking a Group Leader to plan engaging, safe learning activities for participants of the Stanley M. Isaacs Beacon program. The role focuses on project-based learning that integrates education enrichment, visual arts, clubs, trips, and sports.

Schedule runs Monday to Friday from 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm, with some holidays, evenings, and Saturdays. Salary is $18.00 per hour and offers based on experience.

Organization Overview: Goddard Riverside is a well-established Manhattan community-based agency with an annual operating budget of approximately $ 50 million. Goddard Riverside is one of New York City’s leading human service organizations meeting the basic needs of children, youth and families, homeless people, and older adults across Manhattan and New York City.

Position Summary:

The primary function of the Group Leader is to plan group activities that provide a safe and engaging learning environment to the participants of the Stanley M. Isaacs Beacon program The program is delivered through a comprehensive menu of services ,including project-based learning that integrate education enrichment, visual arts, clubs, trips, and sports.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, September 08, 2025 – June 12, 2026 (some holidays, evening and Saturdays) 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm (Hours may vary)

Salary Range:

$18.00/hr
