Job summary

Kforce Inc. is recruiting a Group Leader in Romulus, MI to direct daily manufacturing team activities, coordinate workflow and mentor staff.

You will ensure safety, quality, productivity and on-time delivery while acting as a critical conduit between operators and department leadership. The role requires experience with manufacturing data and safety systems, plus union leadership, and a solid understanding of production processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

Kforce's client in Romulus, MI is seeking a Group Leader responsible for leading daily team activities, coordinating workflow, supporting employee development, and ensuring that safety, quality, productivity, and delivery expectations are met. This role serves as a key link between team members and department leadership.

Requirements

• Manufacturing Data and Safety Systems experience
• Leading the Union experience
• Production Process and Equipment knowledge
• To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
• Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
