Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Portage, MI is seeking a full-time laboratory professional with a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or a related field and at least four years of lab experience. The role emphasizes coordinating workflow, performance reviews, and driving continuous improvements in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related degree concentration with at least 4 years of laboratory experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow and perform daily monitoring to meet TAT
• Conduct semi‑annual performance reviews, interview applicants, keep training records up to date for assigned employees, evaluate succession plans in preparation for growth
• Perform work for both routine and non‑routine work as specified by separate and applicable technical job description for individual
• Coach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvements
• Troubleshoot and solve both instrumental and method issues
• Lead and write investigations independently, establish root cause and robust CAPA
• Support and drive LEAN initiatives and operational improvements
• Perform all functions in support of and in compliance with all state and federal employment regulations

Additional Information

Position is full‑time, first shift position Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
